Sat by my window,
one hour past midnight,
stared at the moonlit avenue,
realizing how a single lamp
could show directions many.

I spent years fighting against all odds,
finding a glimmer of light
in a room full of darkness,
finding my way back
after every fall.

All I needed, the whole time,
was nothing but a moonlit avenue—
just enough to show me my way
to conquer the small world I live in,
to make mistakes,
to survive toxicity,
and to make moments
I can truly call mine.
