A thousand fractures in the mirror,
wiping tears in a locked stall,
fixing my lipstick to face the room,
pouring tenderness into hands
that never meant to hold it.

Standing in the morning sun,
untouchable, suddenly whole.

Nursing a bitter ache in the dark
just to stay angry,
speaking the hard truth with shaking hands,
refusing to shrink,
letting pride lock the door
when love was asking to come in.

Laughing with my whole chest,
wild and unapologetic,
finally walking away,
choosing my own heart at last.

Every golden peak,
every quiet ruin,
a thousand raw seconds
carving out who I am.
